• 1984: The Sidekicks established the team record for most goals scored by the club in a single game by racking up 9 goals vs the Cosmos.
  • This record would be broken on January 30, 1986 vs Minnesota (11).
    • The current record is 19, recorded at La Raza de Monterrey on July 11, 1993.
  • The Sidekicks established the record for most shots taken in a game with 48.
    • This record was broken on July 11, 1993 at La Raza de Monterrey (68)
  • Established the largest margin of victory in a game (7)
    • This record was broken on February 22, 1990 vs the Cleveland Crunch (an 8-0 win)
    • The current record is 13 goals, set on July 10, 1994 in a 15-2 win over the Carolina Vipers.

• 1984: The following firsts happened in the first ever match with Cosmos
  • Mark Karpun scored the first ever Game Winning Goal in Sidekicks history
    • he also makes his first trip to the Penalty Box
  • Billy Phillips recorded his first win for the Sidekicks.
  • Perry Van Der Beck scored his first career goal with the Sidekicks.
  • Mark Nickeas scored his his first goal as a Sidekick.

• 1985: The Sidekicks won their first game over the Baltimore Blast.
  • This was the 'Kicks first win at the Baltimore arena.
  • Dallas also won their 4th straight game for the first time in club history.

• 2002: Antonio DaSilva played his first game with the Sidekicks.

• 1984: Herve Guilliod earned his 200th career assist in the MISL.
