Alebic was one of 7 players traded between Dallas and Monterrey on July 29, 2003, after La Furia de Monterrey selected Alebic in their MISL Expansion Draft from the Milwaukee Wave. Couch signed a contract with the Sidekicks on August 26, 2003.
