Guilliod's contract was purchased from the Buffalo Stallions (who folded before the 1984-85 season began) on August 2, 1984.
Guilliod scored the Regular Season goal in Sidekicks History.
During the Exhibition Season, Guilliod also scored two goals against Tacoma on October 19, 1984 (at Wichita, Kansas). This earned him the Offensive Player of the Game award, which became the first award ever received by a member of the Sidekicks organization.
Guilliod also recorded the first Shorthanded goal in Sidekicks history on January 19, 1985 vs Tacoma.
Record Book
Guilliod holds the Sidekicks record for the most consecutive games played in his Sidekicks' career without earning a penalty. He played 35 games with Dallas and did not visit the penalty box during any of them.
Guilliod earned all-New York State honors during his Sophomore and Junior Years and All-American honors during his Senior year.
Guilliod was drafted by the New York Eagles of the American Soccer League in 1977. He played for the Eagles and the New York Apollo in the next three seasons.
Guilliod was drafted in 1979 by the Hartford Hellions of the MISL.
Before settling down in Buffalo for a majority of his career, Guilliod played for one season with the Hellions and 9 games of the 1980-81 season with the Chicago Horizon in the MISL.

After being released from the Sidekicks on March 7, 1985, Guilliod became a coach in the Garland, Texas area. He founded the Garland Strikers youth club in 1994. He remains there today as President, Coaching Director, and Head Coach of the '86 boys team.
