*-Detroit wished to hire Andy Chapman, but the CISL prohibited player/coaches. While Dave Baker was officially Head Coach, it is rumored that Andy Chapman did most of the actual work.

Why The Name Change?
The Detroit ownership group sold the naming rights to the team to Chrysler Corporation for the first three seasons. After that agreement was not renewed, General Motors sponsored the team in it's final season.
