Homeless No More

1992: The Sidekicks joined the Continental Indoor Soccer League. CISL commissioner Ron Weinstein told the Associated Press that the 'Kicks and the San Diego Sockers would play a series of exhibition games during the winter/spring of 1992-93. Those games would never take place.

The CISL had announced that they had received applications from 8 cities, 6 of which would play in the 1993 season: Dallas, San Diego, Portland, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Houston (who would join in 1994), Sacramento, and Anaheim (who would move to Atlanta and them fol without playing a game)..
