Signed as a Free Agent.
Young was traded to the Las Vegas Dustdevils on July 1, 1994 in exchange for the rights to defender Mike Powers, who had declined to report to the Dustdevils after being selected by them in the 1994 CISL Expansion Draft.
Young was reaquired by the Sidekicks on April 23, 2001 in the WISL 2001 Dispersal Draft (made up of players from the defunct Houston and Arizona players). He was the Sidekicks 4th round selection (17th overall).
