What Happened to Them?

The Thunder announced they were taking a "leave of absence" from the WISL just before the 2001 season started. Unspecified problems with Veteran's Memorial Coliseum were said to be the cause for their inactivity. They did not participate in the WISL's merger with the new-MISL.
