Where Did He Go?

Carrera is the U14 Academy coach and head of the girls program for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

After leaving Dallas, he played for Tampa Bay outdoors in the APSL in 1992, Chicago Power of the indoor NPSL in 1993, and Canton of the NPSL in 1994. He was traded to Buffalo at the end of the 1995-96 season.

He played outdoors for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer from 1996-98, eventually becoming an assistant coach with the club in 2000.

 

Escape From New York

Carrera played for the New York Express during the first half of the 1986-87 season. The club folded 26 games into the season and became a free agent.

Carrera was invited to the Sidekicks training camp on September 28, 1990.
