2002: Tatu said the magic word, and then disappeared.

--Pete Stein, the Sidekicks radio play-by-play personality during the "practice broadcast" that was recorded on tape, but not broadcast publicly. He was refering to player/coach Tatu being ejected late in the fourth quarter of the game for "Foul and Abusive language"

Always Remember the First Time

2000: The WISL's St. Louis Steamers visited Reunion Arena for the first time. This game also marked the first win by the WISL Steamers over the Sidekicks.

 

2002: During the Sidekicks exhibition match with the Milwaukee Wave . Tatu was ejected for "foul and abusive language" towards the Referees. This marks the first time in Sidekicks history that a coach has been ejected from a Sidekicks game of any sort: exhibition, regular season, or playoff.
