Record Book

• 2001: The Sidekicks tied the record for their largest margin of defeat ever (8).
  • The record was set on March 24, 1987 in an 8-0 shutout at Minnesota.
  • This recford was broken on February 8, 2003 when Philadelphia beat Dallas by 10 goals (22-2 MPS)

• 2003: The following records were set in a match vs. Philadelphia on this date:
  1. Sagu scored the third goal of his career, extending his own record of goals scored by a Sidekick goalkeeper.
  2. David Doyle earned a tripping penalty in the third quarter, allowing him to become the Sidekicks all-time leader in career penalty minutes.

Always Remember the First Time

• 2003: Philadelphia goalkeepers Peter Pappas and Stuart Dobson earned penalty box time within 2½ minutes of each other during the fourth period at Dallas.
  • This marked the first time in the new-MISL, Sidekicks history, and possibly the Division One history of indoor soccer where two goalkeeper penalties were being served at the same time.
