Time Change

1994: The CISL announced that Game 1 of the CISL Finals (played on October 1, 1994) would begin at 10:05 PM Central Time (8:05 PM in Las Vegas, who hosted the game) so that the game could be shown live on the Prime Sports Network instead of tape delayed, as it was originally scheduled.

Not Without My Family

1986: Dallas Sidekicks coach Gordon Jago and general managing partner Jim Graham told the Dallas Morning News they would be contacting local congressmen to help get goalie Krys Sobieski's family out of Poland. Sobieski's wife, Ewa, and his two daughters went to Poland on vacation in early June. Sobieski's family was supposed to return the first week of August, but the Polish Immigration Department has withheld their passports.
