Always Remember the First Time

• 1987: The Sidekicks won a playoff series for the first time.
• 2001: The Sidekicks announced that they would open the 2001 season at the American Airlines Center, meaning that indoor soccer would be the first sporting event played at the newly constructed sports arena.
