See You In Court

2002: The Sidekicks filed a suit in Federal Court today against the Dallas Deserperados Arena Football team, Jones Team Sports, Inc. and the Arena Football League claiming the logo used by the Desperaods club looks too much like the one used by the Sidekicks since 1993. The Dallas Cowboys, who owned the Desperados, would not comment on the lawsuit. Eventually the two sides would settle and the Cowboys allegedly agreed to make changes to the logo, which they never did.
