Discovered after leading the Netherlands to the Finals of the World Indoor (5 aside-no walls) Soccer Championship, Loosveld signed with the Sidekicks on February 20, 1989.
Because the MISL decided that all Dallas Sidekicks players would receive All-Star credit. Loosveld signed the Monday prior to the All-Star Game, and that match was his first MISL expirience.
Loosveld's sole MISL point was an assist on a Richard Chinapoo goal during the first quarter of March 25, 1989.

Loosveld returned to the Netherlands after the 1988-89 season. He is currently a coach with ADL/Bunga Melati (a futsal club) in Tilburg, Netherlands. He makes his home in Belguim where he owns an Oriental rug shop.
