Kerlin stayed in Baltimore for the 1985-86 season before moving to Wichita for two seasons and Tacoma for the 1989-90 MISL campaign. Kerlin's playing career also included stops in the NPSL, CISL (Arizona 1993, 1997 and Las Vegas 1994-95), and PSA/WISL (Arizona).
Mark Kerlin coached the Arizona Heatwave, a women's team in the United Soccer League during the 2001 season. He currently lives in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
