1980: The Detroit Lightning (who would eventually become Kansas City Comets) moved to San Francisco and renamed the Fog.

1986: Sidekicks general manager Ron Adkins announced that he met today with "...substantial people...(who have) a passion for the sport," about buying the franchise that then-owner Donald Carter put up for sale. "That's the combination you need. I would not be surprised to have two proposals for Mr. Carter's review..." before the May 31 deadline for completing the sale.

Training Camp Activities

1996: This day in Training Camp was what Tatu called the dreaded "Track Day," where Sidekick players put on the jogging uniforms and do laps as part of thier conditioning regimen.
