• 1986: The Dallas Morning News reported that negotiations continued today between a group headed by Jim Graham and then-owner Donald Carter to purchase the Sidekicks franchise. Sidekicks general manager Ron Adkins said a decision on the sale itself was expected later this week, but an proposal to assume operating expenses of the club was expected to be resolved by June 4.
