Championship Ring Stolen

1988: According to a Dallas Morning News Story, Bill Osborne, who was reported to have worked in the Sidekicks marketing department, had his 1987 Championship ring stolen by a man who had asked for a ride as Osborne and a friend were leaving the West End (a popular downtown entertainment and restaurant district)
