Not For Sale
- 1986: While
the Dallas Sidekicks franchise was up for sale, the players were not,
and especially not Tatu. KRLD
(1080 AM) reported on it's evening "Sports Central Dallas"
program that Baltimore Blast Head Coach/Executive Vice President Kenny
Cooper had expressed interest in obtaining the Sidekicks' leading scorer.
General Manager Ron Adkins angerly denied the report that any contracts
were for sale and said he was "surprised and disappointed"
that Cooper would make any sort of public comment while negotiations
for the sale of the Sidekicks franchise were beginning.
